I read this with a tear in my eye. Thank you, Rhonda for going above and beyond. Thank you to facilities staff for respecting the importance of our flag.

Thank you so much for going above and beyond. We need to pay our respect and thank those who have served giving so much so we can have our freedom.

While I was Deputy Commander for Cadet Programs with the Civil Air Patrol, Our cadets would often do this service as well. It is important to the unsung and unseen heros which are among us. Thanks so much for showing this veteran the courtesy and respect which so many of us take for granted at times, and the dignity by which this symbol of our freedoms we enjoy was retired.

I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. I'm so blessed to be part of an amazing team of such caring people who will pull together to make a difference for others. That's what it's all about. I especially have a heart for our veterans and soldiers. I can never thank them enough.

The patient that this story is about has asked me to see if I can get a copy of the pictures with him in them. I work with him in the outpatient building, and would like to be able to let him know the answer. I was able to give him a copy of this article. Thank you so much, he truly appreciated what you did in this situation.

Thank you so much for acting quickly and decisively on this matter. The veteran deserved and earned this. I want to personally commend you all for honoring this man and our Flag.
