Could extra linens stored in a patient's room be quickly and cost effectively "bagged" in a heat-sealed clear plastic covering so if not used (not opened) there is no need to re-launder? Think seal-a-meal but not needing such a tight vacuum-style seal. The cost of the machine to seal would be recovered in reduced linen laundering/purchasing many times over. The item would still be seen and identified within a clear plastic cover and it would be obvious when used with opened or damaged packaging.
